Bulls’ Chandler leaves game with ankle injury
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Chicago Bulls center Tyson Chandler was
carried off the floor with 26.3 seconds left in the Bulls 93-87 win over the
Miami Heat on Sunday.
Chandler was injured while fighting for a rebound. Dwyane Wade missed a short
jumper and both Udonis Haslem and Wade missed easy follow-ups before
Chris Duhon finally secured the rebound and was fouled.
During the scramble, Chandler injured the ankle and was carried off the court.
He scored just one point and had only three rebounds in 22 minutes of action
but did an excellent job defensively on the Heat’s superstar center, Shaquille
With the win, Chicago tied its Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with
Miami at 2-2.
Game 5 of the series is scheduled for Tuesday back in Miami.
