Mavs dominate Grizzlies; sweep series

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 points, and Dallas
dominated the Memphis Grizzlies, 102-76, to complete a four-game sweep of
their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

Josh Howard added 24 points and nine rebounds for the fourth-seeded Mavericks,
who will face either top-seeded San Antonio or No. 8 seed Sacramento in the
Western Conference semifinals. The series between the Spurs and Kings is even
after four games.

Jerry Stackhouse had 19 points in a reserve role, as Dallas beat the Grizzlies
for the 12th time in the last 13 encounters, including the playoffs.

The Grizzlies fell to 0-12 all-time in playoff games. They were swept in the
first round by the Spurs in 2004 and were beaten in four straight by Phoenix
last year.

Pau Gasol scored 25 points for Memphis, which lost three games in the series
by double digits. The Grizzlies fell 94-89 in overtime in Game 3 on Saturday.
