Cavs’ Hughes sits out after death of brother
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers guard Larry Hughes is
in St. Louis with his family and will not play in Game 3 of the team’s
Eastern Conference semifinal set against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
Hughes is mourning the death of his younger brother, Justin.
Justin Hughes was born with a heart defect and succumbed to it on Thursday.
The Cavaliers lost the first two games of the best-of-seven series in Detroit.
Larry Hughes is Cleveland’s second-leading scorer in the playoffs, averaging
11.3 points and 3.9 assists in eight games.
