Terry leads Mavericks past Spurs in Game 4 overtime thriller
Dallas, TX (Sports Network) – Jason Terry dropped in 32 points, and drained a
huge rainbow jumper over Tim Duncan with 38 seconds remaining in overtime to
lead Dallas over San Antonio, 123-118, in Game 4 of their Western Conference
semifinal set at American Airlines Center.
Dirk Nowitzki added 28 points and buried two big free throws to tie the game
with 8.5 seconds left in regulation for the Mavericks, who took a commanding
3-1 lead in the series with Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday in San Antonio.
Jerry Stackhouse chipped in with 26 points off the bench for Dallas.
Tony Parker was electrifying and recorded a game-high 33 points for the Spurs,
who lost their third straight to the Mavs.
Duncan tallied 31 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and dished off six assists
for San Antonio, while Manu Ginobili had 26 off the bench.
