NBA suspends Mavs D.J. Mbenga

New York, NY (Sports Network) – The National Basketball Association
suspended Dallas Mavericks center D.J. Mbenga for six games without pay for
entering the stands during the Mavericks 106-86 loss to the Phoenix Suns on

The NBA will not take action against Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban for his
involvement in the incident. The league declared that his actions did not
violate NBA rules and were not inappropriate.

Mbenga will begin serving his suspension on Thursday as the Mavericks host the
Suns in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals at the American Airlines
