Nets decline option on Robinson

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) – The New Jersey Nets have declined to
exercise the option on forward Clifford Robinson’s contract for the 2006-07
season, making him a free agent.

Robinson averaged 6.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest with the Nets last
season. He was acquired by New Jersey from Golden State in the middle of the
2004-05 campaign.

The Nets also waived forward Scott Padgett, who played in 62 games last
season, averaging 3.4 points.
