Blazers waive former lottery pick
Portland, OR (Sports Network) – The Portland Trail Blazers have waived
forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili, the team announced on Thursday.
The 23-year-old Tskitishvili, a former first-round draft choice (fifth
overall) of the Denver Nuggets in the 2002 NBA Draft, has played in 172 NBA
games and averaged 2.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists.
The seven-footer from the Republic of Georgia has also played for Denver,
Golden State, Minnesota and Phoenix over his four-year NBA career.
