Miami signs two college stars
Miami, FL (Sports Network) – The NBA champion Miami Heat agreed to terms
with guards Mike Gansey and Chris Quinn on Thursday. Per team policy,
financial terms were not disclosed.
Gansey starred for two season at West Virginia after transferring from Saint
Bonaventure. He averaged 14.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 68 games as a
Mountaineer. The sharp-shooter was an All-Big East selection and honorable
mention All-American after netting 16.8 points per game last season.
Quinn was the leader of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The guard tallied 14.6
points and 3.5 assists in 122 career games with Notre Dame. As a senior, Quinn
led Notre Dame in scoring with 17.7 ppg and was a First Team All-Big East
