Bulls sign lottery picks, Thomas, Sefolosha

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls signed 2006 NBA Draft Lottery
picks Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha on Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of
the deals were not disclosed.

Thomas was drafted fourth overall by the Portland Trail Blazers and was
shipped to the Bulls along with forward Viktor Khryapa for Chicago’s first
round pick, LaMarcus Aldridge on draft night.

The Bulls also acquired Sefolosha through a draft night trade. Sefolosha was
selected by the Philadelphia 76ers 13th overall and was dealt to Chicago in
exchange for the 16th overall pick, Rodney Carney, a future second round draft
choice and cash.
