Warriors ink Dajuan Wagner

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors signed free agent
guard Dajuan Wagner to a contract on Friday. Terms of the deal were not
released.

The former University of Memphis star was drafted sixth overall in 2002 by the
Cleveland Cavaliers, and averaged 13.4 points and 2.8 assists in his rookie
campaign.

He managed just 6.5 points per game in his second season, however, and
appeared in just 11 contests in 2004-05 due in part to various injuries.
Wagner did not play in the NBA at all last season.

The 23-year-old played one season for Memphis, establishing a single-season
school record for points (762) while being named Conference USA Player of the
Year.
