Bucks attempt to halt losing streak at Verizon Center

(Sports Network) – The Milwaukee Bucks will try to stop a two-game losing
streak this evening when they visit the Washington Wizards at the Verizon
Center.

Milwaukee was beaten by Chicago and just dropped a 97-93 decision to the
Houston Rockets on Wednesday at the Bradley Center.

Michael Redd led all scorers with 34 points — 12 from the free throw line —
and Charlie Bell contributed with 22 points off the bench and five assists for
the Bucks, losers of three of their last four games.

The Wizards, meanwhile, have alternated wins and losses this season and beat
the Indiana Pacers 117-91 on Wednesday night at the Verizon Center.

Gilbert Arenas shot 14-of-20 from the field for 40 points. Antawn Jamison had
19 points and seven rebounds, while Caron Butler netted 12 points for the
Wizards, who have won two of their last three games.

Milwaukee took two of three games against Washington last season and has won
three of the last five meetings.

The Bucks have also won four of their last seven trips to Washington.
