Telfair taken to hospital
Boston, MA (Sports Network) – Boston Celtics point guard Sebastian Telfair
was taken to a local hospital Friday night after leaving a game against the
Telfair exited the contest in the first quarter due to shortness of breath and
was taken to the hospital as a precaution. He walked off the court with a
trainer before exiting TD Banknorth Garden.
Telfair was originally taken by Portland with the 13th overall selection in
the 2004 NBA Draft. He averaged 9.5 points, 3.6 assists and one steal in 68
games, 30 starts, for the Trail Blazers in his second NBA season last year.
