Portland’s Miles has surgery, out for season

Portland, OR (Sports Network) – Portland Trail Blazers forward Darius Miles
had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday.

During the surgery, it was discovered that Miles also needed microfracture
surgery. The procedure was successful and Miles is expected to begin rehab
which will cause him to miss the rest of the season.

Miles did not appear in any games this season for Portland, where he has spent
his last four campaigns.

Over six seasons, including stops with the Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland
Cavaliers, he has appeared in 412 games, with 190 starts, and has averaged
10.6 points per game to go with 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
