Bucks’ Villanueva to miss four-to-six weeks

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) – The Milwaukee Bucks announced Thursday that
forward Charlie Villanueva suffered a torn left elbow ligament in the second
quarter of Milwaukee’s 103-101 victory over Atlanta Tuesday and is expected to
miss four-to-six weeks of action.

Villanueva scored 12 points for Milwaukee, but left the game in the first half
with a left elbow sprain and did not return. Villanueva’s arm was in a sling
after the game.

Acquired in an offseason trade with the Toronto Raptors for point guard T.J.
Ford, Villanueva has averaged 14.6 points, a team-high 7.4 rebounds, 2.1
assists and 1.3 steals per game through eight contests this season.
