Rockets, Timberwolves meet at Target Center

(Sports Network) – The Houston Rockets start a three-game road trip when
they square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at the Target Center.

This is the second time the clubs will meet this season. On November 28th,

at the Toyota Center.

in a game-high 31 points, dished out seven assists and collected three steals
as the Rockets crushed the Golden State Warriors, 118-90, on Tuesday at the
Toyota Center.

McGrady finished 13-of-25 from the field and Yao Ming scored 27 points and
grabbed eight rebounds in the win over Golden State for Houston. Chuck Hayes
contributed eight points and 15 boards in the victory.

The Rockets are 4-4 on the road this season. They are scheduled to visit Adam
Morrison and the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday and Gilbert Arenas and the
Washington Wizards on Saturday.

Minnesota opens a short two-game homestand. On Sunday, Ricky Davis poured in
22 points and Kevin Garnett ended with 15 points and 14 rebounds as the
Timberwolves ended a three-game skid with a 95-84 victory over the
Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.

Mike James scored 20 points and handed out six assists in the win over
Philadelphia for the Timberwolves, who won the game despite committing a
season-high 24 turnovers.
