Allen out at least two weeks with ankle injury
Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – Seattle shooting guard Ray Allen is out
at least two weeks due to a bone contusion in his right ankle.
An MRI taken on the ankle revealed no structural damage, but Allen has a
contusion of the talus bone. He’s not going to play in either of the team’s
next two home games or on their upcoming five-game road trip. He’ll be
evaluated again in two weeks.
Allen missed his first game of the season Tuesday when the Sonics beat
Atlanta, 102-87. He’s averaging a team-leading 25.3 points per game.
