Toronto’s Calderon leaves game on stretcher
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – Toronto Raptors forward Jose Calderon left
Sunday’s victory over the Golden State Warriors on a stretcher with apparent
neck and back injuries.
Calderon went up to grab a rebound late in the fourth quarter and came down
hard on his back. After Calderon was not moving for several minutes, team
trainers and doctors placed him on a stretcher with his neck in a brace.
Toronto team officials confirmed after the game that Calderon was headed to a
hospital for further examination.
