Bobcats try to make it two wins in a row against Chicago

(Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats attempt to win back-to-back games
for the first time this season when they visit the Chicago Bulls tonight at
the United Center.

The Bobcats open a two-game road trip this evening. Emeka Okafor posted 21
points and 10 rebounds as Charlotte held off the Northwest Division-leading
Utah Jazz, 101-89, on Friday at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Raymond Felton finished with 18 points and 12 assists in the win over Utah for
the Bobcats, who have split their last four games. Matt Carroll contributed 16
points, all of which came in the fourth quarter.

Charlotte is just 2-9 on the road this season. The Bobcats will visit Dirk
Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday at American Airlines Center.

The Bulls try and bounce back from a loss this evening. On Friday, Jamal
Crawford scored 30 points as the New York Knicks recorded their first three-
game win streak under head coach Isiah Thomas, beating Chicago 103-92 at
Madison Square Garden.

Sharp-shooting Ben Gordon had 27 points in the loss to New York for the Bulls,
while Luol Deng netted 20 for Chicago, which had a five-game winning streak

Chicago is an impressive 11-2 at home this season. It will visit Kevin Garnett
and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday at the Target Center.

The Bobcats are 1-3 at Chicago. The Bulls have won six of the eight contests
between the squads.
