Houston’s Wells expected to be out one week
Houston, TX (Sports Network) – Houston Rockets guard Bonzi Wells is expected
to miss a week of action because of a sore lower back.
Wells, who has already missed 19 games this season, sat out Friday’s win over
Atlanta with the ailment.
The Ball State product is averaging just 6.8 points and four rebounds per game
in 11 contests off the bench. He netted 13.6 points with 7.7 rebounds a
contest in 52 games with Sacramento last year.
In other injury news, guard Kirk Snyder, who has been out since November 21
with a broken right hand, returned to practice on Saturday.
