Clippers open road trip at Orlando

(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers shoot for their fourth straight
win tonight when they open a six-game road trip against the Orlando Magic at
TD Waterhouse Centre.

Los Angeles made it three in a row with Sunday’s 90-80 win over the New York
Knicks at the Staples Center. Elton Brand scored 32 points, pulled down six
rebounds and matched his career-high with eight blocked shots to lead the way.

Shaun Livingston added 15 points and seven assists for the Clippers, while
Corey Maggette chipped in 14 points off the bench. Los Angeles will now try to
work on its 2-10 road record this season.

Meanwhile, the Magic ended a four-game losing streak with Saturday’s 97-68
setback to the Miami Heat in the opener of a four-game homestand.

Dwight Howard scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Orlando, which
is 11-6 at home and tied with Washington atop the Southeast Division

Trevor Ariza added 16 points and 10 boards off the bench and Tony Battie
chipped in 12 points for Orlando.

The Clippers defeated Orlando, 116-91, on December 3 this season at the
Staples Center. Los Angeles has won four straight, six of seven and seven of
the last nine meetings.

The Clippers have also won three of their last four trips to Orlando.
