NBA fines Iverson $25,000

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Denver guard Allen Iverson was fined $25,000
by the NBA for criticizing officials after playing in a game against his
former team.

Iverson, who was traded from Philadelphia last month, was ejected late in the
fourth quarter during a 108-97 home loss to the 76ers on Tuesday after picking
up two technical fouls.

During the post-game news conference, Iverson sent a verbal jab at NBA veteran
official Steve Javie, who ejected the All-Star.
