Hawks swoop into Indiana

(Sports Network) – The Atlanta Hawks shoot for their second winning streak of
the season when they take on the Indiana Pacers tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Atlanta hasn’t won two straight since a four-game winning streak from November
3-10 this season. The Hawks just ended an eight-game losing streak with
Saturday’s 86-74 win over the Los Angeles Clippers at Philips Arena.

Joe Johnson scored 27 points and Zaza Pachulia scored 22 points and grabbed
eight rebounds for the Hawks, who won for just the second time in 14 games.
Atlanta is nine games off the Southeast Division lead and is just 5-12 as the
visitor this season.

The Hawks have lost four straight on the road.

Indiana, meanwhile, is 3 1/2 games off the top sot in the Central standings
and ended a two-game skid with a 100-93 victory over the New Orleans/Oklahoma
City Hornets on Saturday at the Ford Center.

Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington scored 27 points apiece to lead the Pacers,
who posted their seventh win in 11 tries. Jermaine O’Neal scored 22 points and
grabbed seven rebounds for the Pacers, while Jamaal Tinsley chipped in 13

The Pacers, who are 9-5 at home in 2006-07, posted a 100-90 victory over the
Hawks on December 22 at Philips Arena. They snapped a four-game losing streak
with the win and have beaten Atlanta in eight of the last 12 meetings.

Atlanta, though, has won two in a row at Conseco Fieldhouse after losing its
last 10 trips there.
