Celtics’ Allen leaves with knee injury
Boston, MA (Sports Network) – Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen left the team’s
97-84 loss to Indiana with a left knee injury.
Allen was injured late in the third quarter when he missed a dunk attempt and
came down awkwardly on his left leg.
He had to be helped off the court and was taken to New England Baptist
Hospital for an MRI. The injury is expected to be significant.
Allen was the Celtics leading scorer win the game with 19 points.
