Milwaukee tries to Buck trend vs. Hornets

(Sports Network) – The Milwaukee Bucks are still winless this month and will
try and stop a five-game losing streak when they host the New Orleans/Oklahoma
City Hornets tonight at the Bradley Center.

Milwaukee suffered a 110-97 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday at the
Wachovia Center, as Charlie Bell scored 26 points and Andrew Bogut posted 20
points and 24 rebounds.

Newly acquired Earl Boykins scored 11 points and dished out 11 assists in his
first game as a Buck. Boykins was dealt from Denver on Thursday, while forward
Julius Hodge and cash considerations were also part of the deal in exchange
for guard Steve Blake.

The Bucks are 9-6 at home this season and last in the Central standings.

Meanwhile, the Hornets have won two straight after a five-game skid and
notched a 104-97 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday at the Ford
Center in Oklahoma City.

Desmond Mason scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Hornets,
who are 15 games off the lead in the Southwest Division. Rasual Butler scored
20 points and Devin Brown netted 19 with nine assists in the win.

The Hornets are 6-12 on the road this season and have won two of three and
five of the last eight meetings with Milwaukee.

Both teams have split the last four meetings, while the Hornets have dropped
two straight and four of five at the Bradley Center.
