K.G. suspended for one game
New York, NY (Sports Network) – Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett
has been suspended for one game for an altercation against the Detroit Pistons
during Friday’s 104-98 double-overtime loss.
With 5:18 remaining in the fourth quarter, Minnesota forward Mark Madsen hit
the floor after a forearm from Antonio McDyess.
Garnett threw the ball at McDyess in retaliation before the Detroit forward
charged towards Garnett. The nine-time All-Star then threw a punch at McDyess
as he backed away.
He will miss Sunday’s game in Phoenix.
