Boozer out with fractured leg
Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) – Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer will
miss several weeks after being diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left
The injury was originally thought to be a bruised knee, but an MRI and
additional X-rays confirmed the fracture. Boozer is expected to take four to
five weeks to fully heal.
The forward suffered the injury at the 8:11 mark of the first quarter in the
team’s game on Saturday against the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, when he
collided with Tyson Chandler.
Boozer is averaging 22.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per game this season.
