Cavaliers, Pistons battle at Quicken Loans Arena

(Sports Network) – Central Division rivals square off this afternoon, as the
Cleveland Cavaliers welcome the Detroit Pistons to Quicken Loans Arena.

This is the second meeting of the season between the squads. On December 21st,
Chauncey Billups had a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists to pace
Detroit to an 87-71 win over Cleveland at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Pistons have won two in a row at Cleveland and four straight in the

Detroit goes for its third win in a row. Billups had 20 points and eight
assists to lead the Pistons over the Milwaukee Bucks, 96-86, at The Palace of
Auburn Hills.

Richard Hamilton ended with 18 points and Tayshaun Prince had 14 points and a
career-high tying 12 rebounds for the Pistons, who have won two straight and
three of their last four games overall. Rasheed Wallace finished with 14
points and seven rebounds in the win for Detroit.

The Pistons are 14-9 on the road this season. After tonight’s contest, they
return home for a five-game homestand. Detroit will host Boston, the Lakers,
Toronto, the Clippers and San Antonio on the upcoming stand.

Cleveland plays the second of a five-game homestand. LeBron James scored 18
points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Cavaliers trounced the Bobcats,
101-81, at Quicken Loans Arena.

Drew Gooden added 16 points in the win over Charlotte for the Cavaliers, who
won two of their last three games overall. Larry Hughes chipped in 13 points,
while Anderson Varejao had 12 points and 13 boards off the bench.

The Cavaliers are 17-6 at home this season. They will also the Clippers, Miami
and the Lakers on the current homestand.
