Grizzlies best Hornets

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – Mike Miller poured in 22 points and Hakim
Warrick scored six straight points with under two minutes to play to lead
Memphis over New Orleans/Oklahoma City, 108-104.

Chucky Atkins ended with 19 points and Rudy Gay had 18 for the Grizzlies, who
snapped a five-game series skid versus the Hornets. Warrick ended with 15
points and 12 rebounds, as Memphis won for the second time in three contests.

Pau Gasol finished with 11 points, 15 boards and three blocks for Memphis,
while Junior Harrington also scored 11.

Desmond Mason had 23 points and David West 22 for the Hornets, who had a
three-game winning streak broken.

Tyson Chandler’s dunk tied the game at 97 for the Hornets with 2:13 left, but
Warrick sank two foul shots with 1:52 left. Then, after Gay blocked a shot
from Jannero Pargo, Warrick slammed. A steal by Gay led to another Warrick
dunk with under a minute left for a 103-97 margin.

The Hornets never got closer than the final score.
