Sixers trade Henderson to Jazz

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – The Philadelphia 76ers traded veteran
forward Alan Henderson Thursday to the Utah Jazz for the rights to exchange
seconds round draft picks in the 2007 NBA Draft.

“This move gives us increased flexibility and provides us with additional
options on draft day,” Sixers president Billy King said.

The 6-9 Henderson averaged 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds in 648 career games
with Atlanta (1995-2004), Dallas (2004-05), Cleveland (2005-06) and
Philadelphia (2006-07). In 34 games with the Sixers, Henderson averaged 3.5
points and 3.1 boards.
