Seattle suspends Fortson
Boston, MA (Sports Network) – The Seattle SuperSonics suspended forward Danny
Fortson without pay on Friday.
The announcement was made by Sonics general manager Rick Sund, who said the
duration of Fortson’s suspension will be two games – Friday at Boston and
Sunday’s game at Toronto – for conduct detrimental to the team.
Fortson has played in just 13 games, including six starts for Seattle this
season. He is averaging 3.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
