Pacers suspend Tinsley

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) – Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle
suspended guard Jamaal Tinsley for Saturday’s game against Philadelphia for
“conduct detrimental to the team.”

“It’s self-explanatory to the point that there was an issue that had to do
with our team rules and regulations that I felt had to be decisively addressed
and it has been,” said Carlisle. “It’s a one-game situation and he’s expected
to join us tonight on the plane headed to Cleveland and we’ll move on.”

Darrell Armstrong replaced Tinsley in the starting lineup as the Pacers fell
to the Sixers, 100-96, for their season-worst eighth straight loss.
