NBA suspends Rasheed Wallace

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace was
suspended for one game without pay by the NBA for exceeding the league’s
technical-foul rule.

Wallace picked up his league-leading 18th technical foul in the second quarter
of the team’s 90-89 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Wallace will serve the suspension Sunday afternoon when the Pistons play the
Milwaukee Bucks.

The 6-foot-11 Wallace is averaging 12.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in 62 games
this season for the Pistons.
