Hawks’ Childress out for remainder of season
Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – Atlanta Hawks guard Josh Childress will miss
the remainder of the season with a stress fracture in his right foot.
Childress, who is expected to make a full recovery in 4-6 weeks, played in 55
games this season and averaged 13 points, 6.2 rpg and 2.3 apg over 36.8 mpg.
He hit on 50.4 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from three-point range and
79.5 percent from the line.
The third-year player posted double-figures 39 times, including six 20-point
contests while recording seven double-doubles.
