Butler out 7-10 days for Wizards
Washington, DC (Sports Network) – Washington Wizards forward Caron Butler
will be sidelined for at least a week with a left knee contusion.
Butler underwent an MRI exam on Thursday that came back negative and revealed
no structural damage to the knee.
Butler, who will be re-evaluated next week, originally suffered the injury in
early March but played through the pain. On Wednesday, he sat out the second
half against the Indiana Pacers after feeling stiffness in his knee.
In 60 games this season, Butler is averaging 19.1 points and 7.5 rebounds.
