Wallace, Duncan earn Player of the Week honors

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace
and San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan were named the Eastern and Western
Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played through April

Wallace averaged 30 points, 10.8 rebounds and four steals while leading
Charlotte to a 3-1 week. The swingman recorded three steals or more in each
game he played during the week and currently ranks fifth in the NBA
with 1.97 steals per contest.

Duncan averaged 21.3 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and 3.3 blocks
in leading the Spurs to a 3-0 week. He recorded two double-doubles in the
week to bring his season total to 43 on the season, which ranks fifth in
the NBA.
