Head coach Hill, GM Sund out in Seattle

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – Seattle wiped its slate clean Tuesday,
announcing that head coach Bob Hill will not return to the team next season
and pushing general manager Rick Sund into a consultant role for the remaining
year of his contract.

Team chairman Clay Bennett and vice chairman Lenny Wilkens will lead the
search for each man’s replacement.

“Bob Hill and Rick Sund are fine individuals of excellent personal character
and are basketball men through and through,” said Bennett. “They were both
extremely helpful to us during this challenging year of transition. We are
sincerely appreciative to them for their service and we wish them only the
very best.”

Seattle finished 31-51 this season, losing its last five games while posting
the second worst record in the Western Conference.
