Cavs fend off Wizards to take 2-0 series lead

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – LeBron James scored 18 of his 27 points in
the second half and added eight rebounds and seven assists, as the
Cleveland Cavaliers established a 2-0 series lead over the Washington Wizards
with a 109-102 win at Quicken Loans Arena.

Drew Gooden posted a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds while Larry
Hughes donated 19 points, eight boards and five assists for the Cavs, who
downed the Wizards 97-82 in Game 1.

Game 3 of this best-of-seven, Eastern Conference quarterfinal set will be
played in Washington on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. (et).

Antawn Jamison paced all scorers with 31 points and added 10 rebounds for
Washington, which scored 39 points in the final quarter but was unable to
complete the comeback. Antonio Daniels had 11 points and 11 assists in a
losing effort, and Darius Songaila contributed 13 points and eight boards off
the bench.
