Warriors’ Jackson fined
New York, NY (Sports Network) – The National Basketball Association fined
Golden State’s Stephen Jackson $50,000 for his conduct following an ejection
in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs.
With 4:34 remaining in the fourth quarter of Golden State’s 112-99 loss to the
Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, Jackson received his second technical foul of
the game. He then began screaming at the officials as he headed to the locker
room. Teammate Matt Barnes attempted to calm Jackson down by covering his
mouth with a towel.
With the series tied at a game apiece, Game 3 is scheduled for Friday night.
