Suns sign first-round pick Tucker

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – The Phoenix Suns signed first round pick
Alando Tucker on Saturday. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not
disclosed.

Tucker, the 29th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, averaged 19.9
points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 36 games for Wisconsin in his senior
season. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound forward was named Big Ten Player of the Year
and a First Team All-American for his efforts.

The 23-year-old Tucker finished as the all-time leading scorer in Badgers
history with 2,217 points, surpassing former Phoenix draft pick Michael
Finley.
