Speedy Claxton Done for Season

Speedy Claxton, who signed a four-year deal worth $25 million with the Atlanta Hawks in July 2006 and is facing microfracture surgery, will miss the rest of the season due to an injury to his left knee according to a published report.

Claxton is "contemplating his next step" and hasn’t made a decision about whether or not he will have the surgery that could help extend his career, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The injury could mean he’s played his last game in the NBA…(Click here for more.)
