Wizards Don’t Want Larry Hughes

A report in yesterday’s Cleveland Plain Dealer, citing an unnamed source, said that the Wizards are among the teams that have been contacted about possible interest in Hughes. According to a league source familiar with the situation, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry is open to trading Hughes but the Wizards have no interest.

According to the source, the Cavaliers will face two major issues in trying to move Hughes: He has three years and more than $38 million remaining on his contract and has been bothered by a string of injuries during his career; he has already missed 14 games with a leg injury this season…(Click here for more.)
