Is Tracy McGrady a Liability for the Houston Rockets?

The treatment and condition of Tracy McGrady’s sore left knee has not changed, but the mystery about why it has been so stubbornly troublesome ended Wednesday. The Rockets star was found to have a strained popliteal tendon, an injury that explains the delay in his returning to the court and the three-week timetable he had been told to expect before he could play again.McGrady, the Rockets’ top scorer and assists leader, is expected to be out for another seven to 10 days, an absence that could cost him six more games. On Wednesday, he missed his fourth consecutive game, a 97-93 loss to the Celtics. [Click here for more from the Houston Chronicle.]
