New Jersey Nets Sticking with Lawrence Frank

The defense still stinks, the team president still supports the coach, there still is nothing on the trade horizon and the injured forward is closer still to making a return. So while the Nets were trying to recuperate from the worst beating yet in  a six-game losing streak – a totally uncompetitive mess that contained a 128-point yield to Sacramento – team president Rod Thorn cast his unquestioned support behind coach Lawrence Frank yet again.

‘I’ve always supported him and I still do,’ Thorn said of Frank. ‘I certainly do support him and I fully believe we are going to play ourselves out of this.’ And that, the Nets hope begins tonight in Oakland across the bay against the Warriors. They can’t do any worse than the 128-94 wipeout they received Tuesday.Click here for more from the New York Post.
