New Jersey No Longer Home for Jason Kidd

There is no longer any doubt. Jason Kidd wants out. No extension, no infusion of talent, nothing will satisfy the Nets’ star point guard, who yesterday acknowledged, ‘It’s time for us all to move on. ‘Kidd, one day after professing his desire to stay in New Jersey, made his comments to ESPN.com and said going to a contender is not a prerequisite – but getting out of New Jersey is.

‘Sometimes, when you ride a wave, you get to the end and that’s all there is. That’s where we are,’ Kidd said in the interview. ‘It used to be if I got a triple-double, that was an automatic win. That’s just not the case now. We tried to make this work. We’ve found out it doesn’t. It’s time for us all to move on.’ The Nets have been actively trying to trade Kidd, and last night team president Rod Thorn said the latest development will not change his stance. He will not give Kidd away. Click here fro more from the New York Post.
