A Return to Dallas in Order for Jason Kidd?


Along with knowing their point guard won’t miss the rest of the season, the Mavericks were pleased to know they don’t have to scour the league for experienced point-guard help. Three weeks of inactivity means Harris would be able to return after the All-Star break, giving him 29 games to regain his form before the playoffs. The Mavericks like the team as currently constituted. But had Harris’ absence been longer, they may have been inclined to  explore options, such as:  New Jersey’s Jason Kidd is rumored to be on the trading block, but it is believed the Mavericks are not interested because of the heavy price.
