Ben Gordon Can’t Last as a Chicago Bull

For the Bulls this deal suggests options and opportunities for the summer, when a major makeover seems likely.  With Kirk Hinrich more a combo point/shooting guard, the Bulls now are overloaded at shooting guard with Gordon, Hughes and Thabo Sefolosha. It would seem Gordon becomes the odd man out given that he is seeking a huge extension and couldn’t come to terms with the Bulls last summer. Hughes, whom the Bulls rejected in trade in 2000 while instead taking the first-round pick they would turn into Jamal Crawford, had become as unpopular in Cleveland as Wallace was in Chicago.
