Chicago Bulls Preparing to Move Chris Duhon
Just a few weeks ago, Chris Duhon was one of the few relatively healthy guards on the Bulls’ roster and was logging heaving minutes despite battling a bruised knee himself. But now, with the return of the injured players and the addition of Larry Hughes, Duhon suddenly finds himself anchored to the bench as Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Thabo Sefolosha and Hughes split the minutes at guard.
Duhon received a DNP-CD (did not play, coach’s decision) for the third consecutive game Wednesday in the Bulls’ 113-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Actually, the fact Duhon is still in Chicago is a bit of a surprise. According to an NBA source, the fourth-year point guard originally was part of last week’s three-team, 11-player trade (in place of Adrian Griffin) that brought Hughes, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons and Shannon Brown to town.
