Isiah Thomas Expects to Stay with New York Knicks Next Year
Isiah Thomas isn’t going anywhere. And neither are the Knicks.
For the second time in three days, the Knicks’ embattled president and head coach said he expects to remain with the club beyond this season.
"Yeah, I’ll be here," Thomas said Friday before the Knicks self-destructed in the final six minutes and lost, 99-93, to the Atlanta Hawks Friday night.
When asked if he has been given any assurances that he is safe, Thomas said, "I have a contract that states that." [The New York Daily News]
