Where Will Ben Gordon Play Next Season?

The Bulls could agree to a sign-and-trade deal with Gordon, though he more likely will sign the team’s qualifying offer of $6.4 million, up from $4.88 million this season, and then become an unrestricted free agent at the end of next season.

Gordon isn’t even sure the Bulls will be back to being a winning team next season.

”I don’t know, I hope so,” he said. ”You never know what can happen in the offseason, especially when you’re facing changes. It’s tough, I’ve never faced anything like this in my career. What happens when you’ve been playing bad for a long period of time, it just deflates guys. That’s been the case. We haven’t really been able to muster anything during the season and it definitely seems like it’s taken a toll on us collectively.” [Chicago Sun-Times]
