Detroit Pistons Interested in Carmelo Anthony?

Could there be any substance to the rumor Mark Kiszla reports on that the highly respected Detroit general manager might be interested in adding Nuggets’ scorer Carmelo Anthony to the Pistons’ roster?

I guess Dumars did bring Rasheed Wallace to town and Wallace has never been voted to the All Emotionally Stable team so anything is possible. To be fair, most of Anthony’s transgressions seem to be tied to the arrogance, whims and foolishness of youth, all correctable things even if Anthony is too old to be making them.

But honestly, let’s say the Pistons are legitimately interested, what could they possibly offer of value to the Nuggets in return? [Denver Post]
